Description
A majority of children with special needs such as Autism and ADHD, have a contributing sensory processing challenge. This greatly impacts the way in which they perceive sensory experiences and interact in the world. At times, information enters their system with great force and intensity, which can be overwhelming and confusing. Other times, they seek input, demonstrating an excessive need for movement or touching everything in their path. In this webinar, we will explore each of the sensory systems to provide you with a solid understanding of how sensory processing occurs within the nervous system. You will also learn fun, interactive yoga based activities for the sensory seekers and avoiders, which help them to hone and understand their own sensory needs.
